The Split Protection feature divides each image into four parts, preventing it from being downloaded as a whole. The original version is preserved, allowing you to switch between protected and unprotected modes at any time. If the feature is enabled in the Config section, any images uploaded before activation will be automatically split the first time a user accesses them. In the Admin UI, images are always displayed in their original, unaltered form.

If you disable the split protection the system will keep the split images, however will be showing the full image versions to users.
